Guardian Families Needed
We are small ethical breeder's of Australian Labradoodles and we do NOT kennel our dogs.
We have so much love and time for our doodles but unfortunately we just don't have a lot of space to keep every prospective breeding dog that we would like to keep as a potential breeding dog for our bloodlines.
Therefore from time to time we will need trusted, committed Guardian homes that are willing to *contractually help with our Lexacious Guardian programme.
How it works:
-
The pick of the litter puppy will be chosen by us the breeder, here at Lexacious.
-
The Guardian Family do not have to pay any cost to buy the puppy.
-
Puppy will live with the Guardian family for the duration of their life as their forever beloved pet and will be 'responsible for all normal pet costs such as i.e. routine vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, insurance, toys, socialisation classes, food, etc.
-
Lexacious Australian Labradoodles will retain full ownership*, have full breeding rights* and be 'responsible for all breeding health related costs.
-
Once puppy is of a certain age and has passed all their health screening tests (paid for by us the breeder), they will start our breeding programme.
-
Our breeding boys/studs will be used as and when our girls come into their season. They may also be used for other registered Australian Labradoodle breeders.
-
Our breeding girl will have a maximum of 3 litters. Depending on their season cycle this is usually one litter a year.
-
During each of their cycle/seasons. Our breeding girl will come back to us for ovulation tests and mating.
-
We then confirm pregnancy via scan (paid by us) 30 days after mating.
-
Our breeding girl will then come back to us 1 week before their litter is due. They will then stay with us until they have fully weaned their puppies or until puppies leave us at 8 weeks of age.
-
After our breeding girl has completed all her 3 litters over approx 3-4 years they will retire around 5/6yrs of age
-
Lexacious Australian labradoodles will pay full costs for the dog to be spayed/neutred and then *ownership will be transferred to the guardian family.
