Here are Lexacious Australian Labradoodles we provide a 2 year health guarantee & Contract for our Lexacious puppy families. All of Our Doodles have come from Health/DNA tested parents and we also carry out extensive health screening prior to breeding our doodles to ensure that no puppy will be genetically 'affected' from breed specific diseases. Such as:

Neurological & Muscular Disorders

DM (Degenerative Myelopathy): A progressive spinal cord disease causing weakness and eventual paralysis in the hind limbs.
EIC (Exercise-Induced Collapse): A neuromuscular condition where affected dogs may collapse after intense exercise.

Skin & Coat Conditions

HNPK (Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis): Causes crusting and dryness on the nose, particularly in Labrador Retrievers. It doesn’t affect general health but needs lifelong care.
IC (Improper Coat): Refers to a coat type that deviates from breed standards, Not a health issue, but a breed standard concern.

Eye Diseases

PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy): A general term for several genetic diseases that cause blindness. Subtypes include:
- PRA-PRCD (Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration): A common form seen in many breeds, leads to gradual vision loss.
- PRA-rcd4 (Rod-Cone Dysplasia type 4): Another subtype causing late-onset blindness.

Blood Clotting Disorders

VWD I (Von Willebrand Disease Type I): A mild to moderate bleeding disorder caused by a deficiency in clotting factor (von Willebrand factor).

We also make sure that any future breeding parents undergo

HIP & ELBOW Scoring

When you research for a reputable breeder it is very important that they health/DNA test all of their breeding dogs and that all heath/DNA test certificates are available to view upon request.

As a registered WALA breeder we have to submit all our tests to WALA before our dogs can be bred and be regsitered. Once registered we then display our dogs WALA number next to their profile. If a breeder is breeding their dogs before carrying out health tests then they are breeding Unethically!

Here at Lexacious all of our dogs are WALA registered and we only breed our dogs with registered affiliated breeders of Australian Labradoodle organisations and only with dogs that have completed all of their Health and DNA tests.

We also DNA Profile ALL of our *breeding dogs prior to registering our litters.

By doing this I can assure you as the buyer of my puppies that I have provided WALA accurate information on the ancestry of my puppies I am selling you. Incidentally, as well as ascertaining whether a dog is as advertised, a DNA profile can also help identify an animal that has been lost (or stolen) and then found.

A DNA profile gives a unique genetic code for your dog. You could think of it like your dog’s very own genetic fingerprint. This allows accurate identification of your dog and can be used to *confirm their parentage.
